You cannot compare cotton sheet thread counts with bamboo. It’s a different kind of material and they don’t really match up. I can tell you that these things are very soft and feel incredibly silky.Even though they have a very visible weave texture, it’s not something that you feel in your skin. I would definitely say these are equivalent to 600 thread luxury cotton sheets. I’ve been closed a picture so you can compare how they look but the blue sheets are the bamboo ones and they feel just as soft as that 600 thread count Egyptian cotton gray sheet.They definitely sleep cool as well. Even though it’s freezing outside I had the heat really cranked up to the point where I was sweating because I wanted to see how these sheets would perform in the summer. And they definitely do a good job of wicking away moisture.Now these definitely seem a bit thinner than my other sheets and I’m aware that bamboo in general just does not last as long as cotton. That’s some thing you just have to understand when you buy them and you were making a trade off in longevity for comfort. I still hope to get a couple or few good years out of these at least for the price that would be pretty fair.The fitted sheet seems to be a little snug. I’m not sure it’s as deep as they advertise and it’s definitely tight around the mattress so there’s a little bit of concern there. And a thin sheet doesn’t bode well for how tight it fits on a deep queen mattress. They may want to consider making the fitted sheet a little bit thicker than the rest of the bedding. Or making it bigger.The color is navy and it’s a bit lighter than my other navy bedding. It still looks very nice.They have a bit of an odor to them so you’re definitely gonna want to wash them before you put them on your mattress. That’s probably a good idea with any sheets actually.So so far I am really enjoying how they feel but I do have a little question about long-term durability. The sheets do not feel thin at all but that’s because of the nature of the weave. But if you hold them up to the light you can see you get a lot more transmission than you do with some other cotton sheets. The blue ones are the bamboo. They still have weight to them and they drape over very well and feel luxurious. So at this point only time will tell but I’m definitely rooting for these.
